A simple story written by me.

Introduction:

Why? Just why? Why did there have to be an apocalypse? There was no good reason and now it's just ruined everything. But luckily I have communications with my best friend, Devin. We've been friends for a long time and we know each other very well. Sadly, my brother isn't in my range. I've searched everywhere in the house but he is nowhere to be found. Hopefully, I'll find him soon. I talked with Devin earlier and told him about the situation that I was in. He said he was the same except he didn't have a brother missing. We talked over the walkie-talkies that we'd always kept so we could talk together because none of us had phones. And it wasn't like they'd work right now anyway. I guess tomorrow we'll be meeting up at the store about halfway between our houses, which were about 3 blocks away. And hopefully, I'd be able to find a decent weapon. I need to find friends and family before I can start arming myself. I wonder what's next.
